Welcome to FCA Wrestling - Georgia!  The vision of FCA is “to see the world impacted for Jesus Christ, through the influence of athletes and coaches".  FCA Wrestling is a strategic element of this vision, as we work to impact the wrestling world for Christ. FCA Wrestling in Georgia started with an FCA Team Wrestling Camp in 2006, and now has Bible Study groups for coaches, wrestling clinics, and the FCA Breakfast at the GA H.S. State Wrestling Championships.  We've now shared the good news of God's love with over 2,665 wrestlers, coaches, and fans around the world.  By God's grace, 300 people have now committed their lives to Jesus Christ, and another 229 young men have "recommitted" their lives to the Lord.  Our goal is to "build champions for the game of life" by helping wrestlers and coaches grow in their relationship with Christ, develop Godly character, and become leaders among their peers. Come help us impact the world for Christ!

FCA Wrestling Camps - committed to "building champs for the game of life" . . .

Summer News . . .
*** The 2010 FCA Team Wrestling Camp was awesome this summer.  We had world class coaches and a great group of teams from five different states.  Overall we saw 388 wrestlers and coaches in two sessions of camp.  Twenty-nine young men gave their hearts to Jesus Christ for the first time.  Another 99 young men "recommitted" their lives to the Lord.  In the summer of 2011, we are planning to have camp back at Riverside Military Academy, with two sessions again.  Session One will go from June 12 -15, 2011; and Session Two will run from June 15 - 18, 2011.
*** Our FCA Wrestling Team on mission to the Ukraine was a great success.  Our coaches on the trip were John Peterson (Olympic Gold & Silver medalist, member of the national Wrestling Hall of Fame), and his son, Justin (recent grad from U. of WI, where he started varsity).  We had 8 young men from across the USA on the team.  In the Ukraine, we were able to utilize the platform of wrestling to share the Gospel with over 945 people, including the Ukrainian national team, and the Jr. national teams from Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Klamekia, Ossetia, and the Chechen Republic.  Our American wrestlers showed well against some very tough competition, and made new friendships.  The Chechen wrestlers all came from a Muslim background and had never heard the message of the Gospel before.  Although they were not ready to embrace the message, they enjoyed being with our wrestlers.  Their coach told us on the last day of camp; "We love everything about you American guys, except that you are Christians.... "  One of the young men on the Ukrainian Jr National team did give his heart to Christ on the night before we left the country.  We have left him in the able hands of a committed Christian in Kiev, who was also a former member of the Ukrainian national team.  This young man's salvation decision was the highlight of the trip.  Thanks to many of you who helped sponsor our team and the wrestlers on this awesome mission opportunity.
*** We plan to add another camp next summer - a very special camp for fathers & sons.  The FCA Wrestling "Father / Son Camp" will be a two-night/ three day camp, taking place sometime near the end of June, or one of the first two week-ends in July.  Keep your eyes peeled for more exciting news on this awesome camp coming to GA next summer!
